I'm sorry, do we for some reason think that High Moon randomly assigninh a speech pattern associated with and only with one of the Insecticons to ANOTHER of the Insecticons was anything other than a straight fuck-up? - Chris McFeely 17:37, 29 May 2013 (EDT)
- Whether it was or not, I'm pretty sure the people writing fiction after it aren't propagating a mistake, they're staying consistent with an already-established characterization for this version of the character. Are we going to point out every time Prime Breakdown shows up that he's still not a sports car? -LV 17:43, 29 May 2013 (EDT)
- What he said. It may very well have been a mistake by High Moon, but new FOC-derived stuff CONTINUING to follow the altered convention ISN'T a "fuck-up", so it shouldn't be treated as a cause for complaint HERE. - SanityOrMadness 17:44, 29 May 2013 (EDT)
- Well, it wasn't intended to be a complaint or criticism of this issue, that's why I didn't put it under errors, just an observation that they'd decided to roll with High Moon's cock-up rather than fix it. - Chris McFeely 06:24, 30 May 2013 (EDT)
- It's the way you say it. It doesn't "properly belong to Sharpshot" as you put it, because Sharpshot's never talked like that, even if G1 Shrapnel did. LV's rephrasing conveys exactly the same information in a more relevant-to-this-page way. - SanityOrMadness 07:02, 30 May 2013 (EDT)
