Talk:Bonecrusher (Armada)
Misassembly?
[edit]So I noticed on my Bonecrusher figure has a left crotch piece on his right side making the crotch look asymmetrical. Was this a common thing on Bonecrusher figures and its redecos? --Wildstreak (talk) 13:29, 29 March 2020 (EDT)
Well, I have Scattor, and his crotch is fine. (That is the weirdest sentence I have ever typed.)--CyclonustheWarrior (talk) 14:11, 29 March 2020 (EDT)
- Well I have the Thunderblast figure and his crotch is fine. I also noticed that the Bomb Ultimate Edition picture here is as asymmetrical in the same way mine is. Maybe it is just Bonecrusher that has this issue? --Wildstreak (talk) 16:05, 29 March 2020 (EDT)
- It looks like the File:Bonecrusher armada toy.jpg might be displaying this same issue? Comparing it to File:Arm-toy BonecrusherUltimate.jpg, the Ultimate one has divots above both legs instead of just the right leg. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 23:04, 29 March 2020 (EDT)
- According to all other pictures of this toy sculpt I could find, it's the bulge in the center that's meant to be symmetrical, not the divots. Additionally, the rear sports a single raised rectangle on the right "buttock"... which is what the Bomb Ultimate Edition in our current photo has in place of the other half of the bulge, so I can only conclude that it's got two of the same pelvis half joined to itself and therefore is the misassembly. Shall we mention that his actual toy is a little bit different from the stock image?
[edit]As many people may have already noticed, the stock image's (not the art) red missile as well as the entire launcher arm is different from his actual toy.
In the stock image, the missile head has a cross and is flatter than the actual toy, and the launcher has some red paint on it. (Same applies to Scattor, his redeco.) You can find those stock images on the back of Land Military Team's box and in the included comic book (First wave minicons only, probably). --Kaizo_Zhang_15 (talk) 17:56, 7 July 2020 (EDT)
- Late reply but most likely a prototype that Bonecrusher had. Kinda wish we had gotten that missile instead of the one we have gotten with the mold but it is what it is! --Wildstreak (talk) 03:37, 8 December 2021 (EST)
