Personality deduction?

[edit]

I was looking at these guys at Stop and Shop today and I had a thought: Basically these guys have no official individual bios. BUT the individual releases DO have tech spec numbers. Now I know we don't record spec numbers and I wouldn't even really think of this for a character who had a bio, but since these guys have nothing else and may never, can we say something about who they are from the numbers, ie: from Brimstones specs we can say he's strong but not very bright brave but low ranking and so on. It IS an official Hasbro description of him and it would give us somthing to write in the bio area. I would think that should be fine, but it was a different enough approach that I wanted to check in before doing anything. Thoughts? --ZacWilliam 18:32, 27 October 2009 (EDT)

ROTF Springer's write-up is from his legends tech specs. I like the idea, if that is all we have. - Starfield 18:39, 27 October 2009 (EDT)
Sounds like a good idea to me. Maybe just make a note that it's extrapolated from the tech specs and not an actual bio. -- Semysane 18:50, 27 October 2009 (EDT)

Where to find spec #s?

[edit]

OK, that sounds good. New question. I'm gonna pick up Brimstone this Fri. and maybe one or two others, but I kinda doubt I'll get the all. I've checked everywhere I can think on the web already and havn't been able to find any of the tech spec numbers from the single releases recorded anywhere. Anyone have them, or know where they can be found? --ZacWilliam 12:11, 28 October 2009 (EDT)

That is a good point. If these Mini-Cons are unlikely to have their tech specs recorded anywhere else (like TFU) then maybe we should list them. - Starfield 14:30, 28 October 2009 (EDT)

Wings of Honor

[edit]

How should the Flames of Yesterday story be incorporated into this page? I ask because Brimstone is currently listed as hailing from the Armada section of the Unicron Trilogy. But Brimstone from Wings of Honor is, obviously, from a Generation 1 continuity. So then should a new page, Brimstone (WoH), be created listing this toy as repurposed for that character? --Xaaron 15:36, 22 July 2010 (EDT)

Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnno. We didn't duplicate Cryotek, after all. --M Sipher 16:00, 22 July 2010 (EDT)
So...follow Cryotek's header as an example? Like:
"Brimstone is a Decepticon from the Wings of Honor portion of the Generation 1 continuity family. His toy, however, was released under the Universe banner: Armada series."
He is called an ancient Decepticon in the text. Side-note: will we need a separate page for the Heart of the Dragon, or can that just redirect to Brimstone? --Xaaron 16:13, 22 July 2010 (EDT)
Cryotek didn't have a bio that placed him in a specific continuity. Just sayin'. I know bios aren't often taken too seriously. - Starfield 01:50, 23 July 2010 (EDT)

Better Summary

[edit]

Ok, the current fiction summary seems to pick up half way through whatever the story with him is, and doesn't explain what the heck it's talking about at all. It's well enough written that I hesitate to delete it, but it's kinda totally nonsensical if you havn't read the story. Can someone add context to let it make sense.?--76.28.76.206 20:45, 23 May 2011 (EDT)

I agree the fiction section needs waaaaaay more context, but I am not the dude to provide it. --ItsWalky 20:46, 23 May 2011 (EDT)
Looks like some anon just copied and pasted the end of the synopsis for the Flames of Yesterday page. I fix. --abates 05:01, 24 May 2011 (EDT)
