I noticed that the "shorty" link goes to one of the Eric bros. from Full Metal Alchemist, but I am not a big fan of FMA honestly, so maybe a few more example links for people who don't get the joke, like say Numbah 4 from Cartoon Network's Kids Next Door serieswho would instantly kick your *$$ if you called him "shorty"?

Hey, sign your talk posts next time. Also, I suppose FMA is a little obscure. I mean, who would think of using a reference to one of the most popular manga and anime of all time? - Semysane 00:34, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

Ummmmmm

[edit]

Hey, since the edits are disabled *Cough* just use a "Spoiler" bar *Cough* could somone improve the grammer and speeling on this page?

Always Ready to Shred

[edit]

"He has a faceplate, which he can pull on during battles...despite the fact that he maintains that he's a repair bot, and not programmed for combat."

It's a welder's mask! You know, for welding and stuff.

Okay, fine. But, you know, it could be. --IMAGinES 13:27, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

It could also be a mask for errantly flung pies. --FFN 13:37, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
Maybe he's just shy... --Hepathos 17:49, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

Please see Help:Coming soon. Those toys aren't supposed to be released yet, so information gleamed from auctions of possibly-stolen copies of them should not be added to Teletraan I. --Sntint 21:03, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
The same can be said for Prowl (Animated) when that was updated MONTHS ago. There was some reluctance, but it was updated anyway. --invisiblemoose 11:16, 3 December 2007 (NZ)
Okay, it's been undone again. So why this but now Prowl? --invisiblemoose 11:30, 3 December 2007

Anti-Kibble?

[edit]

Is there a word for things like Bumblebee's toy's fake car roof chest? Or Scourge (RID)'s fake truck window chest? Or Transmetal Megatron (BW)'s fake T-rex head chest? Where a Transformer's robot mode has obvious bits of its altmode on its chest or elsewhere, which are in fact not part of the toy's altmode? JW 17:58, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

I call it elbbik. G2 Hero Optimus has the truck-chest too. And G1 Powermaster Prime/Ginrai. The Actiomasters are pretty much 100% elbbik. - Semysane 23:33, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
I am pretty sure we call that kind of stuff a "cheat". --Skyglide 01:18, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
"Is there a word for things like Bumblebee's toy's fake car roof chest?" -Animation accurate? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 128.220.154.118 (talkcontribs){{#if:06:38, 29 April 2008| 06:38, 29 April 2008|}}.
It's often referred to as anti-kibble. 86.87.28.191 22:58, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
Don't be a smartass. That's my job, and I take it very seriously :P - Semysane 09:06, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

"Though he has fake car roof kibble on his chest, it apparently works that way in the cartoon's transformation sequences too." Really? Could someone kindly direct me to an episode where this is clearly the case? JW 14:25, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

All you gotta do is pay attention to this every time it shows up.

Huh. Toy-accuracy can be a strange, dark mistress. I stand corrected. JW 14:43, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Rocket Boosters

[edit]

Have the rocket boosters even been seen in the show at all? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Proconix (talkcontribs){{#if:| {{{2}}}|}}.

They featured very very very prominently in Nanosec. --ItsWalky 19:01, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
And it appears that they'll be returing in Velocity...even though they were lost upon reentry. -- SFH 19:11, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Alt-mode references

[edit]

While I'm not discounting the possibility, I need to contend the (now removed) assertion that BB's altmode was meant to be a Beetle with a Camaro hood. Earlier today, I happened to see a car that looked very much like him. If anyone else agrees, it might not be a bad idea to mention it.

--King Starscream 22:14, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

I don't know, the Smart is far smaller then BB, I think it looks far more like a Renault Clio .Dead Metal 17:32, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

Bumblebee model article

[edit]

Would an article on the bodyform in general be warranted, considering how ubiquitous it seems to be? I mean, so far, we've got ten of them running around. —Interrobang 19:56, 14 May 2009 (EDT)

Eleven. We've got eleven, including Bumblebee. I think it should go on a "bodyforms" page, or whatever we want to call it, though, rather than on a separate Bumblebee-only page. --ItsWalky 20:05, 14 May 2009 (EDT)
We now have fourteen. Should they get their own category? JW 01:06, 3 July 2010 (EDT)

[edit]

We don't have the appropriate text. —Interrobang 14:32, 12 September 2009 (EDT)

Vampire?

[edit]

WTF makes him a Vampire? Why is he in the Vampire category? Dead Metal 14:40, 16 September 2009 (EDT)

It's a joke. You know, because he dressed up like a vampire once. -Mazenoise 14:42, 16 September 2009 (EDT)
As with Bulky: unnecessary and misleading. And *IS* it really funny? Can we stop it, pretty pleeeaseeee? I sense war coming. -- Silvery 14:50, 16 September 2009 (EDT)
So will we put Skybite into the Autobot Leaders category cos he dressed up as Optimus Prime once? Dead Metal 14:58, 16 September 2009 (EDT)
And, citing myself from certain userpage talk:
"In the same manner, even if Sari wasn't technorganic already, I wouldn't add her to Transformers category just because she cosplayed Optimus on one Halloween night, you know..." -- Silvery 15:01, 16 September 2009 (EDT)

yeah, like it says up there, but i just dont know how, please teach me how to by editing my talk page . please. User:Jazzerprime

Goldbug?

[edit]

Is it possible that Elite Guard Bumblebee is a Goldbug (G1) homage? Knowing Animated, it's not unlikely, and he looks gold, black, and blue, like Goldbug. If so, is it worth noting? -- 76.240.229.218 18:48, 24 June 2011 (EDT)

No. --Detour 19:23, 24 June 2011 (EDT)
Elite Guard Bumblebee resembles Goldbug the way Space Case resembles Optimus Prime: he doesn't, but you can make it sound like he does by describing him very, very badly. --Andrusi 23:08, 24 June 2011 (EDT)
