Which Optimus Prime?

[edit]

SG Movie Bumblebee claims he threw a wounded Optimus Prime in deep space, and there's a link directing to Optimus Prime (disambiguation), but we don't really know if he's meaning a SG Movie Optimus Prime, or regular SG Optimus Prime . Should we remove the link to the Optimus Prime disambiguation page? I believe creating a page named Optimus Prime (SG Movie) is not necessary.--CyclonustheWarrior (talk) 11:24, 17 October 2019 (EDT)

I agree with you about creating a new page because this Optimus is just a mentioned character, however I think this is a totally new Optimus because it's improbable that a SG bayverse Bumblebee betrayed a G1 or even BW Optimus. --Grievous Prime (talk) 17:20, 17 October 2019 (EDT)
I say we should just remove the Optimus Prime link.--CyclonustheWarrior (talk) 03:51, 18 October 2019 (EDT)
We had pages for characters like Shattered Glass Chromedome and Broadside for years where they're mentioned in a single sentence in a prose story. There's no reason there shouldn't be a "Optimus Prime (SG Movie)" page. Escargon (talk) 08:54, 18 October 2019 (EDT)
Eh, good point.--CyclonustheWarrior (talk) 12:19, 18 October 2019 (EDT)

Well, this seems like a peak wiki brain moment, but in the interest of informing everyone, I point out that SG Bayverse Bumblebee in Forged to Fight is specifically a mirror counterpart to the Bumblebee whose in-game model is classified as originating from Dark of the Moon. Does it become necessary to interpret our standards to move this page to the namespace "Bumblebee (SG DOTM)"? S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 18:10, 9 June 2021 (EDT)

After some talk on Discord I think all of them should use "(SG Movie)", as the designation for all SG movie folks --notsoalex (talk) 20:32, 9 June 2021 (EDT)
