Rhinox talks about the events of On the Edge of Extinction! as causing a bunch of splinter timestreams, but says there's "another factor that created this anomalous stream". The "root [is] from before the point in the core timestream that the others split from". Bug Bite later says he's targeted "Megatron as the rogue element that caused the split." So what is it that Megatron did before On the Edge of Extinction! that caused the Classics universe to be born?
