Sooo, how exactly do we deal these guys' fiction sections? These toys only appear on the cover of Dark Cybertron #4 - in the issue proper the Ammonites are all original designs... Do we describe them as partaking in that issue's events? Jalaguy (talk) 17:36, 13 December 2013 (EST)

I'm not sure. Did the scene on the cover happen in the issue, or was it something made up to make a good cover? - Gimmick (talk) 18:31, 13 December 2013 (EST)
It was just a cover for the toy so they could use it for the comic that came with the toy. I'd say make him toy only, since these guys seem like actual Cybertronians. Escargon (talk) 18:46, 13 December 2013 (EST)
No, they're on the regular cover too, which depicts Ratchet, Rung and Skids fighting them out in the water. And in the issue proper, Ratchet and Skids stay inside the Rodpod the whole time, so... But I don't really see there's anything that explicitly suggests these guys are Cybertronian - all their bio really says is "they're good at fighting". Jalaguy (talk) 04:13, 14 December 2013 (EST)
Name(s) do(es)n't fit the Ammonite numbering scheme, and they have a Mini-Con rather than Ammonite sigil. - SanityOrMadness (talk) 08:29, 14 December 2013 (EST)

Dark Cybertron Ch. 10

[edit]

Since we're considering the Centuritron gang as Mini-Cons whose toys are repurposed (or dual-purposed or whatever) as Ammonites, surely we shouldn't be chronicling the toy's appearance in DC here? The guy in the comic is, I dunno, 14452/3 the Ammonite combiner, not Centuritron the Mini-Con combiner. Jalaguy (talk) 17:29, 13 March 2014 (EDT)

1)The Ammonites ARE Mini-Cons in IDW. Since that name only exists there as a descriptor the Lost Light crew invented for them. 2)Until we have any evidence that the guy in the splash scene is not named Centuritron the info is fine here I think --ZacWilliam (talk) 21:14, 13 March 2014 (EDT)
Starscream in his Armada body is still the G1 guy, despite his toy bio explicitly labeling him as the Armada version. I think we've got a bit of an equivalency here, i.e. a character whose toy description is one thing but fictional depiction is something else. Magaroja (talk) 07:31, 17 March 2014 (EDT)

Faction

[edit]

All of Centuritron's components are IDed in the corners of their pages as Decepticons, but not Centuritron. What's up with that? Is it from the Legends game? If so, could we source that somewhere? -LV (talk) 20:46, 13 February 2015 (EST)

The Legends game identified all of the component robots as Decepticons, yes. Although I think Battle Tactics has them (along with Centuritron) as Autobots. Saix (talk) 22:04, 13 February 2015 (EST)
Nope, they're all just Mini-Cons in Battle Tactics. --Fritz (talk) 22:08, 13 February 2015 (EST)

Gender

[edit]

Out of curiosity, was Centuritron ever confirmed anywhere to be male? Zandergb (talk) 11:59, 10 August 2015 (EDT)

well 2 out of the 3 Minicons are male so....Chasemarc1701 (talk) 22:25, 15 January 2016 (EST)
