Talk:Chainclaw (PCC)

It looks to me like Chainclaw has a second intended weapon mode. Placing his legs in a sitting position allows his claws to connect to the posts on the sides of his knees and the post on his back then works as a handle for Transformers with 5mm posts. Does this seem legit to anyone else?Riddlerj 20:31, 25 October 2010 (EDT)
- I don't think it was intentional. I don't remember if it was shown in his instructions, but the weapon mode as shown in the picture can be improved by having the hands grasp the pegs on the side of his legs. Your alternative weapon mode is a side effect of that. I do think your mode will be useful when giving Chainclaw to another figure. --Khajidha 07:24, 26 October 2010 (EDT)
- It wasn't in the instructions. I was something I discovered by accident which is why I was doubtful. But there was the peg on his back that served no other purpose in any listed modes that made me wonder since Hasbro occasionally forgets to include things in their instructions.Riddlerj 10:17, 26 October 2010 (EDT)
- I think you misunderstood me. I wasn't asking if what you described was in the instructions, but whether what I described was. --Khajidha 10:21, 26 October 2010 (EDT)

- Okay, found the instruction sheet. The photo printed on it shows the hands holding the pegs, but the arms are upside down. The instructions for both weapons modes neglect to mention this as a step in transformation, but the drawing of the weapon attaching to the larger figure shows them in the position to grab the posts. I guess this is one of those "neglected steps" that have shown up in other figures. --Khajidha 10:45, 26 October 2010 (EDT)
