No. Ours is the "Sol" solar system. Solar system is the proper term for any such system. (KrytenKoro in revision history.)
The Sol solar system? That is actually kind of redundant, but I won't argue because I imagine that "solar system" is commonly used for other star systems. I'm no expert on such terminology. - Starfield 13:33, 5 May 2009 (EDT)

Errr... Actually, I'm pretty sure there is only one Solar System... You're thinking of Planetary Systems, which there are several of... "Sol" isn't actually the name of our planetary system... The star at the centre of our planetary system is often called "Sol" in science fiction stories, but it is by no means its "official" name in the English language... The star Earth orbits is called "the Sun", simple as that. I know Wikipedia shouldn't be used as the bottom line for these kinds of arguments, but it summarizes it up quite nicely, and I'm not willing to go through the effort to look for a scientific article that backs up my claims in any case... Just look up any of the terms referred to in this conversation, and you should get an idea of what each term refers to. --Ascendron 13:54, 5 May 2009 (EDT)
