Was the mountain actually called "Chomolungma" in any of the official media? Or was it called Mt. Everest? If it's the latter - as I suspect it is - then this change should be reversed. --Thylacine 2000 (talk) 18:21, 2 December 2020 (EST)

It's referred to as that in the Masterforce manga. The article has always been under this name, the recent move was merely tweaking the spelling to match that used in the new official translation of the manga. Jalaguy (talk) 18:25, 2 December 2020 (EST)

Yes, the two different spellings are up to whatever Romanization system you use, but they’re both based on the original Tibetan name that the manga used. Saix (talk) 00:21, 3 December 2020 (EST)
