On Shout! Factory's release of season two (Volume two) there is a bonus feature entitled "The Combiner: Forming The Transformers Animated Series Featurette. From 22:39 on that feature to 23:16, Dan Gilvezan says the following of Chris Latta:

"Chris Latta was an incredibly talented guy. He also had some demons going on with him, and I think that's probably contributed to his early demise. He was a really, really sweet guy- hugely talented, a lot of energy. But it was clear that there was something in the background with Chris that... that wasn't gonna' let him come to fruition, I think. You know I'm looking back, it's easy to say that now, but... you got that feeling with Chris. It's like 'boy, this boy's headed for the cliff, you know?'"

I don't know how much of that exactly would be good to put on this page. The whole quote seems to say a lot of interesting stuff, yes, but I mean that writing the whole thing down on the page may or may not be overkill.
