Aside from the dreads, I'm not really seeing much ressemblance to the Predator here. Most other things are more insect-like, which kind of ties with those Shrapnel-esque pincers over his back. --Detour 23:31, 13 February 2011 (EST)

Filming crew described the Chevrolet Suburbans as clone trooper Decepticons. Don't you think that Crankcase would be the name of the entire Decepticon trooper crew? --CAJH 21:32, 20 February 2011 (EST)
It happens. --ItsWalky 15:17, 20 February 2011 (EST)

A prototype name?

[edit]

One day,I went to Walmart and bought a Legion/Legends class Crankcase. And on the rececit(spelling is bad to me...SORRY)and it said "ENFORCR"(that's what it says!). My question to y'all is: 1, it a failed name for Crankcase? 2, is it code for "Crankcase"? Or 3, Is it misslabeled? Thanks for this and PLEASE answer this question!1!!-Dinodigger97,11:55 P.M. The names of products on receipts very often do not correspond to the actual product name. We'd be here forever if we noted what the receipt said for every Transformer toy. —Interrobang 02:42, 23 May 2011 (EDT)

New Main Pic?

[edit]

OK, there's gotta be a better image that can be used instead of a convention photograph of the toy. Should that time come sooner rather than later, then I'd offer the Heat Scramble artwork released by Takara (http://tf.takaratomy.co.jp/tcg/extra/gallery/tf-01/images/card/022.jpg) as a suggestion. Stop with that emoticon bullshit

[edit]

It's really annoying and stupid. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.192.56.34 (talkcontribs){{#if:| {{{2}}}|}}.

New Hand Mold

[edit]

I just got a Crankcase figure, and his hands don't have the long middle finger, but they don't look clipped either. It looks like they just remolded the hand without the long part of the finger. There are absolutely no signs of cuts anywhere on the fingers, plus the tip of the middle finger is molded to look like the tips on the rest. Bioniclepluslotr 22:16, 4 December 2011 (EST)

The Studio Series Toy

[edit]

The article currently states "Hasbro were evidently unable to mix-and-match these with the otherwise more-accurate robot parts from Crowbar." and while it might be true that they can't mix those two toolings, would any of the body parts from the Crowbar mold actually be more accurate to Crankcase than just using Berserker? I feel like a straight reuse of the Berserker tooling in new plastic colors and/or paint apps would basically be spot-on for Crankcase. I'm curious if anyone at Hasbro ever commented on the situation. As the artwork is clearly Crowbar-based, it was definitely something planned for, and not just a "factory error" like some of the head/face mistakes that sometime occur. Looked into it and only the sculpting on Crowbar's arms is slightly more accurate. The Berserker mold actually has much more accurate legs and obviously the torso is designed after him and Crankcase. After trying with my toys turns out Crowbar is a pretty significant retool of Berserker that pretty much makes them incompatible for partswapping so yeah that line doesn't make much sense. --BluJayWarrior (talk) 16:02, 23 June 2024 (EDT)
