(Pretty sure this is a typo and it's supposed to be "Darkmount.") --ItsWalky 22:17, 26 February 2013 (EST)

Hmmm, that sounds very likely. I guess we need to hold out for confirmation though? --abates 00:14, 27 February 2013 (EST)
I suppose it IS possible this episode is about an evil Daniel Ross. --ItsWalky 01:48, 27 February 2013 (EST)

Singapore screenings

[edit]

Hmm, should the episode pages be locked down, what with the episodes in question screening early in Singapore? --abates 18:58, 11 March 2013 (EDT)

aah, SHIT, are they really? GodDAMMIT. Nearly got through three seasons without having inconsiderate fucks on messageboards runing your cartoon, Prime, woulda been the first in like a decade... - Chris McFeely 07:10, 12 March 2013 (EDT)
Yeah, a station in Singapore is apparently screening the first 3 or 4 episodes this Friday. --abates 15:39, 12 March 2013 (EDT)
Just to make sure I don't misstep, what's the exact policy on this? The Singapore eps wouldn't be leaked, per se, since they're legit airing, but they're also not the American eps, so are they kosher or not (and even if they're kosher, would I have my legs broken for trying to edit based on them)?KrytenKoro 18:00, 12 March 2013 (EDT)
Our basic position - based on the last time this happened, with the last few episodes of Animated season 2 - has been a quiet acceptance that once they air in English somewhere in the world and are subsequently made available on the internet so that we can see them and can thus vet any editing done on them, then they're okay to add. But I wouldn't edit if they're not airing in English, which I assume they're not? - Chris McFeely 18:06, 12 March 2013 (EDT)
By all reports, they'll be screening in English, so sounds like it should be OK. --abates 18:26, 12 March 2013 (EDT)
Christ, I hope they don't keep going after the premiere and just stop so the US can get started. Just... AGH. I really hate this. - Chris McFeely 18:29, 12 March 2013 (EDT)
Seriously! It's pretty ridiculous. --abates 18:45, 12 March 2013 (EDT)
So it's OK to add info based on the Singapore broadcasts? --abates 19:01, 15 March 2013 (EDT)
Other people may disagree, but I don't see the point in withholding this information if it's easily verifiable by other editors. It's an official release; just not in our country. Mimi 20:24, 15 March 2013 (EDT)

Reference and error

[edit]

I watched the episode, and one thing stood out: "evacuation protocol G1000".... Does that count as a vague reference to G1? And one more thing, optimus's mouthplate was retracted in the end of Darkest Hour, but in the rubble it was deployed. When Smokescreen took him underground it was retracted again. Note, this is an error assuming that optimus is unconcious the entire time (which he most likely is.) Legoformerguy 12:45, 23 March 2013 (EDT)

New Kaon and Darkmount

[edit]

Does this have to be a contradiction? Couldn't Darkmount be the name of the fortress within the territory of New Kaon? --ItsWalky 18:04, 23 March 2013 (EDT)

Didn't Megatron specifically say "our fortress of New Kaon", though? I'd think Darkmount is the territory, if anything.KrytenKoro 22:02, 23 March 2013 (EDT)
The quote's on the Darkest Hour page. New Kaon's also one of Megatron's earlier proposed names for Earth once he's done cyberforming it, so I'm not sure if he's intending it to be "Darkmount, fortress of New Kaon" or what. It's not very clear. --abates 19:54, 24 March 2013 (EDT)
I just recently watched several foreign dubs to the Season 2 Finale and "New Kaon" is alsways referenced as a new name for the planet or place. For excample in the german dub Megatron says "Doch unsere Festung auf Neu Kaon wird es uns erlauben etc." which translates to "But with our fortress on New Kaon we'll be able to etc." Which seems to further support the fact that Megatron or the Scriptwriters refered to the planet or place the Decepticons are at the moment and not the fortress itself.--Hudemx 16:31, 24 August 2013 (EDT)

Out loud

[edit]

Would this be 'Darkmount Nevada' or 'Darkmount En Vee'? --MissRatbat 19:36, 5 April 2013 (EDT) (who is foreign)

"Darkmount, Nevada". The two letter postal codes are almost never pronounced as letters. Kind of like how elemental symbols are treated ("Au" is virtually always read as "gold" and not "ay you"). --Khajidha 19:43, 5 April 2013 (EDT)

Autobits

[edit]

How are we treating the Autobits edition? Would its contents be canon, because I would love to add Megatron's love of cat videos to his page. Bookwormdalek 21:41, 21 April 2013 (EDT)

It's probably as canon as his appearances in commercials, or answering fanmail in the UK comics. So enough to get a mention on his page, although probably just in his notes section. Tindalos 09:40, 22 April 2013 (EDT)
The promo makes it sound like they are 100% canon. "You may not know the whole story... knowledge is power, and Autobits is here to help!" - Starfield 17:09, 24 August 2013 (EDT)
