Talk:Darkness Rising, Part 2

Someone posted a continuity error for this episode stating that Dark Energon was a new discovery. Indeed Megatron found a new source for dark energon, but Arcee references it when they are talking about it back at the base saying that was the stuff the Decepticons experimented with during the Great War. So it is not a continuity error.

I believe she said that what happened to Cliffjumper was like experiments the Decepticons performed during the war. As far as I recall, she made no actual reference to Dark Energon itself. -- Semysane 03:06, 28 November 2010 (EST)

The mention of Unicron is is an obvious reference to the Unicron of several series, namely G1. Also, Unicron from G1 had the ability to bring back the dead, giving the ghost of Starscream a new body. The fact that "Unicron's Blood" brings back the dead is a reference to this as well. I'm unsure as to why others will not allow these facts to go under "Transformers References"

Because Unicron has never used his "blood" to resurrect anyone before, and Starscream's resurrection was only possible because he has an immortal spark. And there is no Unicron of G1, there is only one Unicron. One cannot be a reference to oneself. --Khajidha 18:19, 28 November 2010 (EST)

---There have been several disconnected series, so it would not make sense to say that each Unicron was the exact same one. Would you argue that all the Optimus Prime's were the same? And although Starscream had an immortal spark, only Unicron was able to actually fully resurrect him.

I really think you need to read Unicron's article before talking about this further. --ItsWalky 21:03, 28 November 2010 (EST)

Its obvious 'Unicron Blood' is a metaphor as blood is the energy of a person. Dark Energon is energy (duh?). If you lose blood you lose energy, see how the metaphor works? Because Unicron's energy (dark energon, 'blood') can resurrect the dead, what does this bring to the Scourge/Thundercracker, Cyclonus/Bombshell/Skywarp debate?

Nothing, as it seems Hasbro is looking forward, not back. --M Sipher 23:06, 29 November 2010 (EST)
If Hasbro was truly looking forward and not backward, why do they have the classics line or release masterpiece molds? I was just merely speculating the effects on a timeless debate.

Looks like episode 3 confirms the Transformers familiarity with Dark Energon.

why is ratchet's operating arm bot/thingy not mentioned under a 'Terrorcons' section in the characters list along with Cliffjumper's corpse, Optimus clearly says in the third episode that it was "Brought to life" meaning it was no longer a broken piece of equipment, —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 92.241.62.70 (talkcontribs){{#if:| {{{2}}}|}}.
