Talk:Dazzlestrike
Is Dazlestrike an Autobot or Decepticon? I need to know so I can make his page.--CyclonustheWarrior (talk) 14:34, 30 January 2019 (EST)
- Presumably an Autobot, since Greenlight is.
- On another note, is there a source for "Dazlestrike" with one z being the official spelling? The last thing I saw had two. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 12:44, 31 January 2019 (EST)
- The in package photos I've seen only have one z: https://news.tfw2005.com/2018/12/13/war-for-cybertron-siege-greenlight-revealed-378843 --Khajidha (talk) 12:59, 31 January 2019 (EST)
- Well that's dumb, but I guess the article was wrong then. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 13:04, 31 January 2019 (EST)
- I'll make him an Autobot for now.--CyclonustheWarrior (talk) 13:06, 31 January 2019 (EST)
- How do we know the gender?--Metalstar (talk) 13:47, 1 February 2019 (EST)
- We're just assuming his gender for now. Yes, I just said that.--CyclonustheWarrior (talk) 15:27, 2 February 2019 (EST)

Maybe, instead of creating a page for the sake of creating a page, you could have, oh I don't know, waited until more information came? S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 16:17, 2 February 2019 (EST)
Possible reason for the discrepancy: someone else has the "Dazzlestrike" name trademarked in an uncomfortably close category. The instructions and package back are less restrictive on that (hence, Billy Batson spent years turning into Captain Marvel inside of comics, but could never be called that on the cover), so they only needed to go with the last minute trademarkable "Dazlestrike" for the front. - Doubtful. Just having a different number of Zees is probably not going to make the name distinct enough for separate trademarking. Try marketing a car as a "Fiessta" and see how quickly Ford's lawyers will be all over you. THe most likely explanation is simple: human error. --Khajidha (talk) 13:13, 2 October 2019 (EDT)
