Detour/Dead End in europe
[edit]The page claims that all European releases of him are called Detour on the front of the packaging, but I've seen plenty of both here in the UK. Thelastallosaur 10:35, 30 June 2009 (EDT)
the ones that say dead end are probably american imports
Huh?
[edit]This guy is in the PSP game? ---Blackout- 14:45, 27 October 2009 (EDT)
- Yes. Though apparently nobody knew because nobody bought that game. The artist has no idea what the character is like in the game. --FFN 14:54, 27 October 2009 (EDT)
- Am I going to have to buy the game off eBay in two years time and borrow a PSP to write it up again? - Chris McFeely 15:30, 27 October 2009 (EDT)
That first note...
[edit]...is debatable. Optimus Prime's four Generation 2 toys, for instance, are a counterexample. --flicky1991 10:08, 19 February 2013 (EST)
Resemblance
[edit]Should we mention this guy's resemblance to Knock Out? - SoundWave 19:36, 21 August 2013 (EDT)
- Nnnnnnot when there is none. And it depends on which Knock Out you mean (if Prime Knock Out, this guy came out well before Prime Knock Out did). --Sabrblade 19:46, 21 August 2013 (EDT)
- Well, he does have gold rims and flame decals on the doors, perhaps Prime Knock Out is an homage to Deadend? --SoundWave 11:25, 22 August 2013 (EDT)
- B-but Knock Out doesn't have flame decals? And the decals he does have are white/silver. The likelihood of Prime's designers basing Knock Out on a random Scout character with a different name is so low that we'd need positive confirmation to actually put it on the article. - In 30 years of product largely based on "real" vehicles, you're gonna find things that coincidentally look kinda sorta vaguely familiar just due to the sheer odds and a limited number of color/vehicle-shape combinations. This is not noteworthy. --M Sipher 11:51, 22 August 2013 (EDT)
