Matrix of Leadership
[edit]How did Nova Prime feel the D-Void's "pull through his Matrix of Leadership" if he didn't have it with him then? Mimi (talk) 10:53, 12 March 2014 (EDT)
- Nova only lost the Matrix after giving it to his scientists for the cold-construction program. Presumably he felt the pull the Dead Universe before then as the beginnings of his looking toward space and finding other worlds and realms to colonize (which was why he started the cold-construction deal in the first place). - Chris McFeely (talk) 10:55, 12 March 2014 (EDT)
- Furman intended him to have it when he wrote the line in Spotlight: Galvatron:

- Well, we’ve yet to actually meet the Matrix in the IDW/TF-verse. So we may be getting ahead of ourselves here. What do we know about it so far? Well, according to Spotlight Galvatron, the Matrix was (and maybe is) “carried” by Nova Prime, and he (Nova Prime) disappeared into the Dead Universe (along with the Matrix, we assume). Nova describes a bottomless well and a resonant tug on the Matrix. What happened next we don’t know (yet). But what is the Matrix (hm, that sounds familiar somehow)? Not telling. Not yet. But ’08 holds the answers: what it is, where it came from, what is does (then and now!). The Matrix (and what it’s become) will figure large in all that happens post-Devastation. The Matrix has been gone from the IDW/TF-verse for a long time, and its return will not necessarily be a thing of celebration.
- i.e., the Darkness was intended to be the Matrix. Rewrites and later retcons, all triggered by All Hail Megatron, have muddled the picture. - SanityOrMadness (talk) 13:01, 12 March 2014 (EDT)
Universal stream status
[edit]This article indicates that the Dead Universe is a universal stream like most other dimensions/realities in the Transformers franchise. I don't dispute this, but where does confirmation of this status come from? S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 23:34, 29 April 2015 (EDT)
- Where does the article say that? Saix (talk) 00:36, 30 April 2015 (EDT)
- The first line under "IDW Generation 1 continuity" - "Had nature taken its course, the Dead Universe would likely have been just another one of the many realities that exist within the multiverse." S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 00:42, 30 April 2015 (EDT)
