A stop-gap solution

[edit]

So according to the online scans of this book, Quickmix blocked the only known exit to the Decepticon base, then sealed it with quick-drying Nebulite cement, presumably sealing them inside their (large) base for the foreseeable future. What's all this I keep reading about sealing them in "living death"? - Caswin 13:55, 18 March 2011 (EDT)

He buried them alive, that sounds like "living death" to me. --15:05, 18 March 2011 (EDT)
The problem is, when I hear "buried alive", I don't usually think "stuck in a large, well-lit compound with the exit blocked." Star Trek II notwithstanding. -- Caswin 23:54, 18 March 2011 (EDT)
There's no way out and they'll run out of supplies. Yeah, I'd say "buried alive" sounds accurate. --Detour 23:59, 18 March 2011 (EDT)
Depends on exactly how much cement he used, he could have filled the entire complex. --Khajidha 00:01, 19 March 2011 (EDT)
When Quickmix is done, he says "There, that should hold them for quite some time." He doesn't seem to think he's imprisoning them forever. Besides, there's still another way out - the way that Quickswitch got in in the first place. I do think it's funny that the series ends on this note, and it's worth pointing out... but yeah, "living death" is a stretch. - Jackpot 01:31, 19 March 2011 (EDT)

Hosehead/Inferno

[edit]

Okay, this page leaves it ambiguous as to which fire truck Autobot appeared. The Hosehead page makes an unambiguous statement that he was the one in this story. Inferno has only a stub notice and storylink. If we truly want to make this ambiguous, we should note the uncertainty on each page. For myself, after viewing the scans of both Decepticons Underground (http://web.archive.org/web/20051103070914/http://www.green-ranger.com/stuff/ladybird/10%20-%20underground/) and Autobot Hostage (http://web.archive.org/web/20050906155034/http://www.green-ranger.com/stuff/ladybird/09-hostage/), I think that Inferno is the one appearing in this book. Before I do any editing, I'd like to hear the opinions of others. --Khajidha (talk) 23:12, 12 October 2015 (EDT)

Okay, I'm calling it. It is Inferno. Off to change the relevant pages. --Khajidha (talk) 20:54, 27 November 2015 (EST)
