"Kup almost lost his entire platoon on Deneb IV when Decepticons attacked them with a surprise acid shower." ... Hmmmm. It sounds like Acid Storm and his fellow Decepticon Rainmakers visited Deneb IV at some point!

Except for the fact that Acid Storm and the Rainmakers never existed in the Marvel Comics universe, beyond Acid Storm showing up in the Classics universe. Besides, that was surely not the intent of the comic.
