Talk:Desertion of the Dinobots, Part 2
About the Dinobots' personalities
[edit]-"For the most part, this is the last time the Dinobots would be shown as rebellious, intimidating warriors in the original animated continuity, as by their next appearance in The Transformers: The Movie they are happy to work with other Autobots, and by Season 3, are generally used as comedic foils."
Is this really accurate in regards to The Movie? The only time they follow an order is when it's something they want to do anyway ("Me Grimlock love challenge!"), they refuse to run from battle at first when Galvatron and company attack, and they're still shown as freakishly powerful: they're the only ones able to take on Devastator, they destroy a Sweep with just one blast of their fire breath, they crush the Sharkticons with ease and scare them enough to where they stop attacking, and they're the only ones who face Unicron head-on and not only live but deal some damage; even Galvatron didn't scratch him. They never actually engage in battle alongside any other Autobots, either. --76.115.107.108 02:46, 12 April 2012 (EDT)
