The only definitive connection between any of the components of Dominus Trannis and Rail Racer are Loco/Cowcatcher and Midnight Express, because Vector Prime mentions that Loco's insanity might be the result of Midnight Express trying to break free of the personality. The only other thing is Steamhammer is described as old and crotchety, which meshes with Railspike's personality, but it doesn't need to be since Steamhammer's personailty was derived from an ancient Predacon.
