Is it "Driller" or "The Driller"? Ratbatman 18:26, 25 May 2011 (EDT)

It's a Driller. - Chris McFeely 18:50, 25 May 2011 (EDT)

Colossus?

[edit]

[1] Name was also used by a German TV host during the Berlin premiere event.--Nevermore 08:29, 3 July 2011 (EDT)

So, I'm pretty sure Shockwave says "Colossus" in the film. It's garbled because Shockwave's voice sound like a trash compactor, but it sure sounds like that's what he's saying. ----Spectre 19:51, 19 July 2012 (EDT)

Real world similarities

[edit]

It strongly resembles a Mongolian death worm. 74.78.84.137 13:33, 24 November 2011 (EST)

More cynically, I'd say it was likely inspired by the sandworms from Dune. Tom Servo the Great 13:35, 24 November 2011 (EST)

Driller Length

[edit]

According to a video I saw on the Transformers Facebook page, the Driller is the length of three football feilds. That would make it 1080 feet long. Here is the url of the video. http://www.twitvid.com/ZQLMF DinoFreakUSA 09:57, 11 February 2012 (EST)

Images

[edit]

Do we really need three images of the Driller in the same Chicago scene? Can't one be replaced with one from the Chernobyl scenes? --Detour 02:41, 31 March 2012 (EDT)

Really?

[edit]

All the other transformers in Dark of the Moon had really cool names, but here's "Driller Bot," ladies and gents.DBZFan12 (talk) 19:39, 18 September 2014 (EDT)

You expected much from the Cybertronian equivalent of an earthworm? --Sabrblade (talk) 01:01, 19 September 2014 (EDT)

Cyberverse

[edit]

Apparently the Cyberverse figure was actually sculpted to look like the Driller. The bio also mentions the Driller's ability to traverse through the ground and stuff. Should we put that on this page? KriegsSundayFinest (talk) 09:36, 5 January 2026 (EST)

At least a note would be good imo --Arren Meuchel (talk) 13:35, 4 February 2026 (EST)
