Potential inaccuracy?

[edit]

According to [Roger Craig Smith's resume], it says HE was the voice of Hot Shot in the Armada game... -- Cyberlink420 14:03, 15 October 2010 (EDT)

However, the credits say that Dublin James is Hot Shot. --NCZ 14:23, 15 October 2010 (EDT)
Fair point. So...why the inconsistency? -- Cyberlink420 15:05, 15 October 2010 (EDT)
I'm not sure. I don't know much about resumes, but it could be possible that the writer got mixed up and received the wrong information. (An example: at one point, Tara Strong's website said that she was Bowser Jr. in Super Mario Sunshine. She was not, but she played Bowser's kids in a different Mario cartoon.) Maybe Roger recorded some additional dialogue as Hot Shot. Maybe he recorded most of Hot Shot's dialogue, but it was decided that it was not up to snuff and it was redone with a different actor. Maybe he did voice Hot Shot and it's the credits that are wrong. Who knows? --NCZ 15:31, 15 October 2010 (EDT)
I know in the case of Tara's site, the information's been wrong on more than once occasion; pretty sure it's actually fan-operated but officially-endorsed. As for the credits thing, it certainly wouldn't be the first time; I specifically remember Konami miscrediting Jennifer Hale for a role in MGS4 that was actually played by Nika Futterman, so it's distinctly possible that a mistake might have been made. The fact that Smith lists the clients for each role suggests that it wasn't just ripped straight from Wikipedia or something, though some of the more recent stuff, like his new role as Sonic, still hasn't been added yet. Maybe someone should contact him so we can get this figured out... -- Cyberlink420 15:51, 15 October 2010 (EDT)
