Unique Design Feature/Fluke

[edit]

I recently came into possesion of both Duocons, and I have learned (through self-experimentation and the tail ends of the Duocon picture galleries at seibertron.com) that it's possible to have Battletrap's chopper combined with Flywheels' tank for robot mode and Flywheel's jet on Battletrap's Jeep as well for robot mode, all due to the air-components having the trigger tabs in the same configuration. Should this be added to the article? AutobotFreak643 02:23, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Triple Changer Duocons

[edit]

Is it worth mentioning that the Duocons seemed to be regular triple changers in the Marvel continuity since they appeared only be able to transform into one vehicle mode at a time and could still transform back to robot mode despite their other vehicle mode disappearing. They do not have their split-personality issues in the Marvel continuity either. Bass X0 (talk) 07:10, 16 January 2014 (EST)

IDW goes even further - not only did Flywheels not split or have MPD issues, he even had tank kibble on his plane mode! (And vice-versa) - SanityOrMadness (talk) 09:35, 16 January 2014 (EST)

Should we add the "repurposed" Duocons?

[edit]

I mean, we do have the note now establishing that we've got another three Duocons, although not with the official name. Maybe just adding the toys with a note of "Hasbro now says they're Duocons despite not being so in the fiction"? --NewtypeS3 (talk) 13:06, 12 March 2018 (EDT)
