I feel we may need that in case people want to know where legacy core Energon megatron came from and if they don't see him here. Maybe something along the lines of This is about the comic Energon Universe. New mainpic?

It’s not just Void Rivals and Transformers, G.I. Joe is here as well. What if for the mainpic we had a composite image of the 1-year anniversary connecting covers? I agree that we need to update the mainpic, but the problem is we would need a far higher resolution version of that image you linked.
