I'm a bit confused by the Synopsis and the Continuity notes interpreting the first panel as a "one-panel flashback". Wouldn't the straightforward reading be that all the panels are taking place in the present, and the narration (over the course of three panels) is recapping the three places that this location has been over time? --flicky1991 15:30, 8 March 2022 (EST)

Seconding this idea -- that first page is indicating that the base has served three functions over time, not that any kind of flashback is taking place. Accordingly, there is actually no indication the Insecticons worked with Shockwave or Exarchon during the war; I believe the wiki has accidentally promulgated a significant error here. We've seen the Insecticons' backstory, and it never mentions them fighting for Exarchon, which would have been significant. I'm going to be fixing mentions of this on all affected pages.
