Talk:Evan Gauntt/Sandbox

Okay, so this is what I was thinking, simply using Evan as an example, for how to better work out putting images into artists' pages. A lot of people don't really have sub-sections long enough to support an image to the side, which would vertically stretch the pages something fierce. A four-image mini-gallery will enable a decent range of art from different sources and styles and etc.
As for the "Extended gallery"... I'm still mulling that. I think it'd be a good idea to provide links to all the work from that artist we have on the wiki... but the nature of the presentation is the question. A gallery for someone like Wildman or Delbo or Figueroa would be monstrous and bandwidth-eaty. A list of links might just be boring. Thoughts? --M Sipher 16:50, 4 August 2009 (EDT)

It's been brought up elsewhere that adding Categories to the images by artist might be a way of doing it. I'm... not totally sure of that. I'm worried about bandwidth on that one. --M Sipher 17:27, 4 August 2009 (EDT)
I'm not sure how bandwidth for category display would be any worse for image display than a manual image gallery, all things considered. And categorizing would be far, far easier than trying to maintain a manual gallery. --Jeysie 18:44, 4 August 2009 (EDT)
