- Searchlight doesn't even really have much of a face. I've had a close look at my Rollbar, and he definitely has a bit of a handlebar mustache thing going on. Semysane 22:45, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

Rhinox

Stretching it.
[edit]I'm just throwing in my 2¢ in. I think some of these examples take a little too much imagination. Animated Megatron has some black paint apps on his chin. Dirt Boss has a dark gray line across his light gray face. Animated Jazz has a "chin strap" for his helmet (at least that's what I always took it as). I think a lot of G1 guys had similar chinstraps. I'll have to look out for Movie Optimus Prime's goatee and Megatron's mutton chops. I don't remember those. It seems like to be counted as facial hair, it should have hair-like features, protruding out from the face and whatnot. Markings shouldn't count as hair. - Starfield 20:55, 26 July 2009 (EDT)

Beards
[edit]In Animated, lots of mechs have little additions to their mighty chins that look just like the sort of beard you'd try to grow if you were trying to look manly and cool. Why are these not counted as facial hair? Harley Quinn hyenaholic 10:48, 25 March 2013 (EDT)
- Because the art style of Animated was such that if they were supposed to have facial hair, they were just drawn with facial hair. It didn't create visual robotic analgoies, with random chunks of metal. It just gave them beards because it was a cartoon. - Chris McFeely 11:33, 25 March 2013 (EDT)
