"Megatron's observation that Cheetor is moving at Mach 2 is likely an exaggeration." I don't feel that this assumption actually gels with what's in the episode. Yes, Megatron is prone to hyperbole, but he's looking at a readout on the screen, so why is he exaggerating the number that's right in front of him? I agree with the spirit of the comment--a quadruped (even one with a rocket booster on it's back) running at such a speed is absurd. However, that points to a fault in the writing, while the assumption that Megatron is exaggerating sounds more like fannish rationalization. I've changed it to reflect the absurdity alone, rather than trying to explain it away. Luke 20:04, 18 January 2010 (EST)
