Eh, not always (read the notes on "See No Evil"). Therefore, I think the removed note regarding the episode's production likely occurring earlier in the season had a fair point. This is supported by Zob's recent list of music tracks for the complete G1 series, with "Fight or Flee" lacking any of the "Season 3" themes that were demonstrably written for the series that debuted in "Nightmare Planet". In fact, there's nothing later than as used in "The Killing Jar" that was used in this episode, which kind of noticeably contrasts with "The Ultimate Weapon" and "The Dweller in the Depths" on either side of it.
