It appears the Cybertron Alliance site hosting these for Steve (link at the bottom) is gone. Anyone know if these exist anywhere on the net still, or are they gone. Had something I wanted to check in one. --76.28.76.206 08:14, 18 February 2011 (EST)

As far as listing characters in order of appearance...we all know why that's tricky business for these books, but those lists should have every character that figures in, right? I was thinking of just going by page number, regardless of paths, with a note explaining such in the top bracket. For the first six that is; I have my old pre-movie box set, but can't help with the last three or Young Corgi. Thoughts? Bumblevivisector 17:35, 23 April 2013 (EDT)

I wouldn't worry about appearance numbers, since it's going to be different depending on which path you take, but the lists should have every character who appears. --abates 18:22, 23 April 2013 (EDT)
Other multipaths like Dinobot War have |nonumbering=true in the featured characters template to remove the problem entirely. --Emvee 19:13, 23 April 2013 (EDT)
Ah, I see! Okay, when I get around to it, I'll just try to emulate that. Thanks!Bumblevivisector 20:37, 23 April 2013 (EDT)
Be sure to mention the box set on the pages for the individual books as well. --Khajidha 21:30, 23 April 2013 (EDT)
Okay, will do. Is the box set really that rare? It's all I know the FYF books from, but the few people I've shown it to just seemed stumped. I can safely say all nine books were sold individually, correct? Bumblevivisector 22:00, 23 April 2013 (EDT)
Well, I haven't heard of it before. I did a lot of online searching related to the various vintage G1 books and book series a few years ago but I could have missed it. Where did you get the box set? Was it for sale in a regular bookstore? A book club edition? Or.....?--Khajidha 22:17, 23 April 2013 (EDT)
My Aunt gave it to me one Christmas, '86 or '87, and I doubt she remembers now. I think the other 3 are mentioned somewhere within each one as "also available", implying they were at least a second printing. The box isn't pristine anymore, but they're all still in it on a shelf in my basement. I'd have taken better care of it if I'd known it'd be the only known copy someday. Still haven't found my digital camera.
As long as we're here, someone on the Dinobots Strike Back page linked to a sandbox with an elaborate template for mapping every story path. It's Invisibility Factor (I think) so I'd have to just assume it's accurate, but no one ever got back to him on it (last update in 2010). I'm too new here to say if that would just bog down each page unacceptably, but these books don't seem to be documented that well anywhere else online, so should we try it? I'll have time to do proper synopses for the six I own, come June or so. Any thoughts? Mods? Bumblevivisector 22:33, 23 April 2013 (EDT)
I don't think anyone really relishes the work that that sort of write up would take. If you think you can do it, go ahead. Or come up with your own way. I have one or two of the later ones laying around here, if you can show me a good way to do this I might get up off my ass and do them. At this point, anyone who actually does anything on these pages can pretty much set the new standard. Particularly if they are willing to do six of these things. Oh, and check the slip case and books for more information. I think I got mine from a Scholastic book fair. Maybe there's some indication of that on the ones you have.--Khajidha 23:04, 23 April 2013 (EDT)
