So I know that I'm like the only person who's reading this comic, or something, but now we have a question - what do we do about "Bill and Anne" versus "Felix and Tova"? Do the four characters each get separate articles? Do we try and fold Bill and Felix together, and Anne and Tova? If we do that, what do we put the articles under? Felix and Tova because they came first? Or do we use the new names and relegate the Felix and Tova to "note" status, the way we usually do with other plot points from the novel that got dropped from the finished film? Or should we just make articles for "Seymour Simmons's father" and "mother"? Man, after doing all that obvious research and really building up my opinion of him, Barber let me down on this last hurdle! /:) - Chris McFeely 05:44, 21 January 2011 (EST)
- I wouldn't know if there's a prominence hierarchy, but if there isn't, I suggest making two separate articles for the first two names: one for Felix Simmons and one for Tova Simmons, with the information about Bill and Anne in a note right under the intro. That way, those names can be used without causing confusion in the Sector 7/DotM section. Geewunling 05:56, 21 January 2011 (EST)
- I agree that Seymour's mom and dad should be in one article. Anne apparently opened a deli which leads right into continuity with Tova. But what should Simmons's mother's article be at? She took the Simmons name at the end of the comic, so should it be at "Anne Simmons"? - Starfield 16:37, 24 May 2011 (EDT)
- The Carly precedent would be to keep her at her original name. It's what we do for Transformer characters. —Interrobang 17:46, 24 May 2011 (EDT)
