Rename?
[edit]Could this actually be named "Z-Metal"? ジー is used for the American pronunciation of "Z", and it makes some sense with it being used for the Zarak Shield. Mimi 20:37, 3 June 2013 (EDT)
- That seems very plausible to me. -LV 21:12, 3 June 2013 (EDT)
- Then again, Shattered Glass canonized the "G-Metal" spelling, which I didn't notice. Mimi 21:22, 3 June 2013 (EDT)
- Could still warrant a note for what it might have been intended to be. Or put "Z-Metal" as the Japanese name in a "Foreign names" subsection. --Sabrblade 21:50, 3 June 2013 (EDT)
- That, or it's Shattered Glass, which randomly renames stuff (like calling their space bridge a "stellar spanner") anyway. - SanityOrMadness 22:32, 3 June 2013 (EDT)
- Except that A) This wasn't a random rename since it was genuinely believed to be this name for ages and written to be this very metal, and B) The Stellar Spanner was an intentional renaming done to both reflect the backwards nature of the world and to reference G1 Spanner from Marvel Comics (whose body was built into the comic's first space bridge), so it wasn't so much a "random" renaming as it was a "clever/playful" renaming (G1 Cliffjumper even once almost called it a "space bridge" by accident). --Sabrblade 22:46, 3 June 2013 (EDT)
