"Spars"?

"Scavenger's drum wheel creating spars when he drives at high speed on asphalt" I cannot think of any definition of "spar" that would make sense here. Also, as I have not seen the episode, I am unable to rephrase this. Anybody know what this is supposed to mean? Is it just a typo for "sparks"? --Khajidha (talk) 11:03, 6 December 2019 (EST)
