Talk:Generation 2: Redux
Items of Note
[edit]"It's kind of disingenuous to say that a lot of these guys aren't G2. How is Cindersaur not G2, or Breakdown?"
I'm sorry, I don't think I phrased that statement correctly. I meant they wren't originally G2 in that they didn't have toys during the G2 run in the 90's. Breakdown and Streetwise didn't have their toys released and Cindersaur never had a toy made, only the other two Fircons were released as G2 toys. Riddlerj 22:34, 19 July 2010 (EDT)
- If Breakdown didn't have his toy released, then what is this? Meanwhile, Streetwise is based on what his G2 deco would have been, would he have been released, and Cindersaur also speculates on what his G2 color scheme would have been, based on the color schemes of the other two G2 Firecons. These are undoubtedly G2-based toys. --ItsWalky 22:41, 19 July 2010 (EDT)
Bumblebee
[edit]Minor question.
Would that be considered Bumblebee? If this is meant to follow The Rebirth, he would technically be Goldbug, but then his Generation 2 toy was a gold Bumblebee, but here he has his toy head which looks closer to Goldbug's, but they're simply drawing those characters like the toy's for some reason and now my head is starting to hurt Riddlerj
- It could be one of the small ways that the Wings of Honor timeline deviates from the cartoon. --Bluestreak7 09:46, 20 July 2010 (EDT)
G2 Sideswipe's Powers
[edit]Sideswipe's powers are shape shifting according to his Custom Class tech spec bio. Shawn Tessman said that gives him the ability to change from his G1 form, to his G2 form, and his Gobots form (or any other form he wants for that matter). Poweredconvoy 11:24, 9 March 2011 (EST)
Special project
[edit]Wheeljack mentions using the Forestonite for a "special project" for Rodimus Prime. I'm not sure what the special project is, but if anyone knows should it be mentioned somewhere?
