Talk:Hatchet (DOTM)

Aren't we being a bit premature by having a fiction section for a character that has no indication (currently) of actually appearing in the movie? Sure, Hasbro classifies him as a Dread, but the so far we only know of Crankcase being in the movie... and there's at least *two* of him, like the Constructicons. --FFN 01:32, 5 May 2011 (EDT)

That's right FFN,and P.S:there are some cases of people seeing THREE(gulp)Crankcases.-Dinodigger97-6:47,5-May-2011

I think the assumption is that he's in the movie by virtue of being one of the characters Hasbro bothered to set up a new bio page for, unlike, for example, Roller or Powerglide. -LV 21:51, 5 May 2011 (EDT)

Eurofighter Mode

[edit]

Is there any other-fiction justification for this mode, or did Hasbro just decide "Screw the movie, we're not making three molds out of the same car"?192.249.47.165 16:54, 30 June 2011 (EDT)

Not right now, but it makes perfect sense for HasTak to get them different altmodes. What's up with the caption? Couldn't think of a better one? It's already been done and I do get the reference.-ACIDSTORM92 01:13, 2 July 2011 (EDT)
Actually I was talking about the one about legs. The one about Sky Lynx was appropiate.-201.167.42.38 01:54, 7 July 2011 (EDT)
Now we just need a classic literary reference for his toy picture. -LV 21:02, 7 July 2011 (EDT)
As I previously told you, I do get the reference, but it was already used on Arcee (WFC).ACIDSTORM92 16:48, 8 July 2011 (EDT)

Senseless literary quotation theme

[edit]

I greatly approve of the new Cyberverse caption, although I think it would be improved by the jet being to the left and the horrible beast to the right. Something to keep in mind when he gets real pictures taken, I guess. -LV 12:30, 8 July 2011 (EDT)

Hatchet(s?) on Cybertron

[edit]

In the beginning of DOTM, there are several Hatchet-like quadrupeds witnessed in the opening battle. Is one of them Hatchet, and should this be noted in the main article? Tom Servo the Great 17:56, 5 September 2011 (EDT)

Until we get the film on video, I don't think it'll be possible to tell whether those guys are Hatchets, modified Ravages, or some other distinct thing. --ItsWalky 18:36, 5 September 2011 (EDT)
Additionally, check out the "Notes" section? (How can anybody tell?) --ItsWalky 18:59, 5 September 2011 (EDT)

Size

[edit]

Hoo boy, Cyberverse. Is it just me, or does this guy come off as a little big? I don't own a lot of Cyberverse toys (just Starscream, Roller and Powerglide), but he's a bit bulkier than I expected. Seems almost full-on Scout to me. I could be wrong, but to me he's frelling huge for a Commander class. --King Starscream 21:47, 19 October 2011 (EDT)

Michael Dorn?

[edit]

I don't know how acurate IMDB is, but according to them, Michael Dorn made an uncredited voice over as Hatchet. I watched through the parts of the movie with the dreads, and didn't notice it talking, so is it worth adding to the page? --96.237.141.219 08:55, 25 December 2011 (EST)

I would not call the IMDB a credible source in this matter. --Monzo 10:26, 25 December 2011 (EST)
