Wait, I'm confused. Does Hoist actually appear or not? That he has a voice actor implies he does. Then again, I never really got far i nthe DS game... --M Sipher 16:52, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

He apears in the PSP game in the main story. I'm almost sure that he's not in the DS games, because they focus on the actual movie characters apart from the drones and create-a-bot.--Grand-majin 17:03, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

ROTF Hoist?

So now that Hasbro have officially shown ROTF Hoist (Longarm redeco), do we assume this is the same character, or are Hoist (Movie) and Hoist (ROTF) two different guys until further notice?--Nevermore 15:26, 22 July 2009 (EDT)

Since the character from the game and the toy are both green Longarms, it's probably okay to treat them as the same character. The toy may not match the game model 100%, but neither does Dropkick. - Cattleprod 19:58, 22 July 2009 (EDT)

Let me clarify. I think they should share the same page, but since the video game character Sideswipe (Movie) has his own page there should probably be a "Hoist (ROTF)" page for consistency. - Starfield 22:52, 23 July 2009 (EDT)

The argument for Sideswipe went: the creators of the movie video game didn't have the ROTF character in mind when they made video game Sideswipe and the creators of ROTF Sideswipe didn't have the video game character in mind when creating that character. The fact that they both likely had G1 Sideswipe in mind when creating their individual characters was deemed irrelevant. - Starfield 10:28, 24 July 2009 (EDT)
