Roulette is there! And a bunch of identifiable silhouettes in the all-green bomb blast itself. --Monzo (talk) 02:20, 10 July 2014 (EDT)

Power Master Ironhide

[edit]

In the Wings universe, Ironhide (G1) still died in TFTM. We know there's at least one Ironhide (G2) clone in the Wings universe, so the Power Master could be an upgraded version of that guy. Or, since Jhiaxus had multiple clones of characters like Soundwave (G2) and Soundwave (MW), he could've been ANOTHER Ironhide clone released from Jhiaxus's clone depot at the end of A Common Foe. So should there be separate pages for Ironhide (G2 Gobot) and Ironhide (G2 Power Master), or should this guy be added to the Ironhide (G2) page? --Xaaron (talk) 11:44, 21 December 2014 (EST)

I was thinking that it was the former. Escargon (talk) 12:07, 21 December 2014 (EST)
Either way, we're going to be making an assumption, and IMO, assuming that the existing Ironhide clone got a makeover is the less egregious of the two? Jalaguy (talk) 12:12, 21 December 2014 (EST)
I'm with Jalaguy on this one. - SanityOrMadness (talk) 12:31, 21 December 2014 (EST)
I am too. But, to double back a bit, shouldn't the same reasoning require the merging of Soundwave's clones from A Flash Forward and Termination? Soundwave and Frenzy remained with Jhiaxus when Nightracer left with the Battlechargers, right? If assuming the Ironhide clone upgraded himself over time is the "less egregious" assumption, we should also assume the Soundwave clone did the same. --Xaaron (talk) 14:11, 21 December 2014 (EST)
I'm not huge fan of all this assumption stuff. Transformers also sometimes come back to life after being dead. Or end up being parallel versions of themselves from a different timeline/universe. Ironhide's appearance could be explained by any number of sci-fi tropes, really. I think we should just note on the original Ironhide page that AN Ironhide showed up at this time and place, but we have no way of knowing WHICH Ironhide this is. We can offer explanations, by saying he might be one of the clones, but we shouldn't presume he is. To say this is defenitely the clone is going too far in my opinion. --Ascendron (talk) 15:22, 21 December 2014 (EST)
Obviously, we can't put Power Master Ironhide's appearance anywhere without a note detailing we don't know precisely who this Ironhide is. But no matter which page we put it on, it comes with an assumption. Either we're assuming the original Ironhide came back to life through circumstances unexplained, that the clone was reformatted through circumstances unexplained, or that a third Ironhide was introduced through circumstances unexplained. So which is the least presumptuous place to put it: the page for the dead guy, the living guy, or a guy we only assume might exist? I say number two, because he's the only Ironhide we KNOW was alive in Wings last we checked. --Xaaron (talk) 18:17, 21 December 2014 (EST)
