*Roll* Now what did I do wrong? X-BoB58 19:03, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure Team Optimus didn't have enough named members to get its own category. 7 or more, man. Not every subgroup under the sun deserves a category. You don't see a Cybertron Defense team category, do you? Pay attention to our discussions. And, frankly, once you started adding categories like "The Elderly" to the bottom, I'd ask you in particular to please talk over category additions first. Consider it a probation of sorts. --ItsWalky 19:07, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

Powerlinx Hot Shot

[edit]

As far as I know, they never fixed the forehead paint, but they definitely fixed the symbol. I'm looking at mine right now, and it has the properly outlined symbol. --Spectre 00:10, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

I've told Walky this on numerous occasions. -LV 01:51, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Am I the only one that thinks that he's in denial about there being a Hot Shot variation he doesn't have? :p --FortMax 02:58, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Pictures don't lie. --Detour 10:29, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Is this something you bought in a store, or did you find the image on the Intermanets? --ItsWalky 13:46, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
It's not something I personally bought in a store, it's something my friend (and I mean real friend, not internet buddy) bought for himself at retail, and showed me. He took that picture of his MOC toy specifically so I could prove any naysayers wrong. Another shot. --Detour 20:44, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
Well, shit! --ItsWalky 20:46, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

so many jokes...ShinkisRule 18:15, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Exillion ≠ Hot Rod?

[edit]

Is Galaxy Force Exillion the same character as Hot Rod? There's a passing note on Hot Shot's toy page saying, "the Japanese release was treated as a separate character from Hot Shot." I never thought about that before. A new page for Exillion!? - Starfield 23:31, 2 March 2011 (EST)

I'm assuming they'll stay in the same article for the same reasons why RID and Car Robots characters aren't separated. --NCZ 23:33, 2 March 2011 (EST)
But this is either Hot Rod's page or Exillion's page. Not both. Will just a note be enough?
In Galaxy Force, Exillion was a separate character from Hot Rod.
- Starfield 23:38, 2 March 2011 (EST)
*sigh* There will be no note. Galaxy Force wasn't considered by Japan to be in the UT at the time that text was written. Now it is. Starfield, do you do ANYTHING on this wiki other than searching its minutia for ways to make this place more difficult? --ItsWalky 23:44, 2 March 2011 (EST)
I know Galaxy Force was integrated into the UT. But the question still stands. What would a Japanese fan of Galaxy Force say? There can be differences between Galaxy Force and Cybertron. Nitro Convoy was a dude. Galaxy Force took place one year after Super Link instead of ten. Possibly being a separate character isn't interesting and wiki-worthy? - Starfield 23:59, 2 March 2011 (EST)
OK, I saw your note. I'd still like to know what a Japanese fan of Galaxy Force would say. - Starfield 00:03, 3 March 2011 (EST)
There are lots of differences between dubs. Blaster was called "Billy" in the Omni Productions dub, but that doesn't mean that version of him gets his own page! This is a very, very basic attribute of the wiki that I should not have to explain to you. You are not a newbie. Please contribute something useful that is not aimless nitpicking. --ItsWalky 00:12, 3 March 2011 (EST)
It would be more like if in the original English Twincast was just a random redeco that showed up after Blaster died, but in the Japanese show, the dialog made him Blaster. Would American fans then consider him Blaster? But if this is type of topic is inappropriate for TFWiki.net talk pages... I guess I'll refrain. I'm not a good judge to what other people would consider nitpicking. I seriously thought this was cool beans. - Starfield 00:58, 3 March 2011 (EST)
It's appropriate where appropriate. Here, it isn't. Exillion is Hot Shot is Hot Rod. He went through three names in three series but remained the same character. --Detour 01:11, 3 March 2011 (EST)
