I am struggling to find something to say for Hubcap that I have to comment on his Gundam-looking feet. --FFN 17:06, 14 June 2010 (EDT)

Is it a happy accident that the exhausts on Hubcap's arms can accommodate those little NEST Global Alliance clip-on weapons, or was he designed with them in mind? 90.198.228.123 10:47, 19 December 2010 (EST)

I'd say it's not an accident. --ItsWalky 11:28, 19 December 2010 (EST)

I kept calling this guy Chromedome by accident (his head very much reminds me of the G1 Chromedome particuarly the coloring) so much so now that it's sort of stuck. Is it just me who sees the similarity and should be noted at all?82.26.167.226 10:01, 8 February 2011 (EST)

As far as the similarity goes, who knows. Whether or not it should be noted... no. --Detour 10:02, 8 February 2011 (EST)

we three KINGs OF THE ROAD we are

[edit]

Hubcap (TF 2010) and Motormaster (G1) both claim to be "king of the road"; do either of them claim that in any canon sources, or is that just a metaphor TFWiki users have come up with to help Earthling flesh creatures comprehend Cybertronian thought patterns? If either or both of them call themselves by that title in canon material, is it noteworthy? One might also mention Road King. --Rhymus 03:04, 15 March 2012 (EDT)

Motormaster's designation of "King of the Road" is taken directly from his original bio card. It was also referenced in the episode Masquerade, the relevant quote from which is on Motormaster's page directly below his intro. The reference for Hubcap is also his bio, but the claim is a little less secure there. While Motormaster's explicitly says that he "seeks to destroy Optimus Prime so he can claim to be 'King of the Road'", Hubcap's says of his rivalry with Brimstone that "Brimstone may consider himself king of the road, but Hubcap won't give up until this so-called king is just another wreck." I don't actually see anything there that says that Hubcap is or considers himself to be or wants to be "king of the road", only that he wants to get rid of the current claimant. Just because you want to depose a king doesn't mean that you want to BE king. --Khajidha 10:09, 15 March 2012 (EDT)
