I realise that it's a distressing subject, but we must remember that Savile died before he could be tried and convicted of any crimes. Despite the mounting weight of evidence, technically and legally he's only an alleged sex offender. As sickening as these news reports are, we should be careful to avoid calling him a criminal outright.

This site often uses humour, wit and flowery language to illustrate a point; however in this instance I think it's probably best to just report the facts as they stand and not let emotion cloud an already delicate subject.--Ryan Frost (talk) 16:48, 2 January 2014 (EST)
