Talk:Jetfire (Armada)
Perhaps somebody should revert this page to the previous version? Some of the new changes, if you can understand them, are mildly offensive even if merely joking at heart. And some I can barely understand, and I'm aussie. --FFN 11:26, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
- The quotes were lifted from "The Adventures of Barry McKenzie." I don't think they're particularly offensive, but if others disagree, I have no trouble with that. Just sorta felt if Jetfire's caption text was going to be "Aussie-Speak" it should be... genuine. Jhiaxus 13:22, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
I think the poofta thing is over the line, though. I should mention I do really appreciate the Don Bradman reference you added to the caption of my Don Figueroa photo :D --FFN 13:32, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
I just plain don't get the reason for all the crotch jokes. Maybe I'm just not familiar enough with the character, but... why? 74.243.19.39 23:13, 5 January 2011 (EST)
- Every caption is about his Australian accent. So blame it on the fact that there seem to be a lot of crotch-related Australian references. - Cattleprod 00:14, 6 January 2011 (EST)
Shouldn't his Galaxy Force name be Dreadrock, according to the Japanese toy package? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 219.71.2.150 (talk • contribs){{#if:20:08, 6 February 2011 (EST)| 20:08, 6 February 2011 (EST)|}}.
- No, it's Dreadlock. Like Grimlock, but with less grim and more dread. --Detour 20:21, 6 February 2011 (EST)
- Well I understand the Grimlock case, but the Japanese package does write it as Dreadrock. I suppose we should respect the source, despite it may appear grammatically wrong or something? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 219.71.2.150 (talk • contribs){{#if:20:36, 6 February 2011 (EST)| 20:36, 6 February 2011 (EST)|}}.
- No, because the Japanese suck at romanizing. --Detour 21:02, 6 February 2011 (EST)
- I don't see how you can definitively say it's one or the other. It's nonsense no matter which way it's romanized, so you're basically guessing. Honestly, I'd err on the side of the Dreadrock in this case. --M Sipher 21:33, 6 February 2011 (EST)

TOYS
[edit]Why are we not listing his inclusion in the Battle for the Matrix (Multi-pack, 2003)set for the Armada mold here? It's not a repaint but if we include versus packs for the Japanese line this should be in here, right? --Argus 08:47, 3 March 2011 (EST)
