Are the BrickHeadz toys or mechandise?

[edit]

So I'm kind on in doubt, in what category should the upcoming BrickHeadz be placed? Icons Prime and Bumblebee are listed in their respective pages as toys rather than merchandise (as they should be since they're fully transforming articulated figures), but the fact that the BrickHeadz are chibified non-Transforming, non-articulated little statues feels far more reminiscent of what would traditionally go into a "merchandise" section - but then again, if we put the BrickHeadz as merchandise then it feels like we'll be leaving the "Lego" section of their toy pages incomplete, so I don't know, there's also an argument here that maybe we shouldn't split the Lego brand across two different pages. Thoughts? (FortressMaxxing (talk) 12:38, 30 January 2025 (EST))

the nanoblock choro-q sets follow the same general format and they're placed categorized as toys --Arren Meuchel (talk) 13:48, 30 January 2025 (EST)
Should those also be categorized that way though? I mean... Super deformed non-transforming things kinda feel like textbook merchandise (FortressMaxxing (talk) 22:04, 30 January 2025 (EST))
For what it's worth, I think that both the Nanoblock and BrickHeadz would fall under merchandise instead of toys.-TitaniumToughGuy (talk) 23:40, 30 January 2025 (EST)
Agreed. --Thylacine 2000 (talk) 07:02, 31 January 2025 (EST)
Honestly, the toy/merch distinction has never been very clear to me ex.: 3 of the 4 Europe McDonald's Energon Promotion releases being merch and the 4th being a toy. --Arren Meuchel (talk) 00:36, 31 January 2025 (EST)
