Why is it that we still are not considering Legacy: Evolution Laser Cycle to be a separate character? "G2 Universe Laser Cycle" was released with its own name side-by-side with "Jazz Universe Jazz". That says to me Hasbro considers them to be different in contrast to Siege "Optimus Prime" and "Galaxy Upgrade Optimus Prime" who are the same. Hasbro did not name this toy "Cycle Jazz" or "Jazz Cycle Mode" or whatnot just as Cloudcover was not called "G2 Universe Ramjet" when it would have been easy for Hasbro not to assign Cloudcover a new-character trademark. I think we should just treat them like a combination those Classic Heroes Team chars (who were both G1 and Aligned) and Shadowstrip-give Laser Cycle its own page but leave it on Jazz's page due to the shared connection. And then put a footnote like with the Magnaboss components about how they could be the same or whatnot, but to be safe we gave them separate pages. Voyager Siege Prime and Leader Class Siege Prime not only didn't ship in the same case because they're different size classes, but also at different times in the toyline. That example is not analagous to this at all. It's one case of deluxes sold to a retailer, featuring two G2 Jazzes. One got disambiguated by using its subgroup name. Sometimes characters get named by their subgroup when a name isn't available. We're not making a separate "Insecticon" page for Robot Heroes Shrapnel. --ItsWalky (talk) 00:30, 16 August 2023 (EDT)
