ビュート

I've searched and searched for the actual Romanization and I've been completely unsuccessful. All I've garnered is that it's used for whip weapons, such as クイーンビュート ("Queen Byūto") and ファイアビュート ("Fire Byūto") from Final Fantasy IV; レッドビュート ("Red Byūto") from Goranger; and ビュートモード ("Byūto Mode", a whip-like form of a weapon) from Kamen Rider. In most instances, they're just translated into "whip". I've seen "Vute" and "Bute" as Romanizations, but I can't take them seriously without an explanation of etymology. —Interrobang 17:47, 12 December 2009 (EST)
