Talk:Lucy Suzuki

I really want to say that she's always addressed as "Professor" on the show, rather than "Doctor," and that should be reflected in the article's title... but I'm not 100% certain on that. --KilMichaelMcC 18:05, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

They call her both, but I think her Doctor title would be more important. You can call anybody a professor, even if they aren't an honoriffic, titled Professor. --ItsWalky 20:16, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

And on the spelling out of "Doctor" - I'd say that should only be done when there's no first name in the title. --KilMichaelMcC 18:09, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

She's Right?

[edit]

So, not having watched most of Cybertron I have to ask: She's Right??? So in the Unicron Trillogy universe the Earth *IS* hollow and holds a sun in the middle? Really? That deserves a detailed mention on the Earth page if true. -- ZacWilliam 15:03, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

It's not clear if the article is to be interpreted this way, or that she's right in saying the kids should be listened to. I don't think her hollow-earth theory was ever anything but her own crackpot theory on the show -- it was mentioned and not really addressed again. I assumed it was just another way of showing what a cheery loon Dr. Suzuki was. I do second Zac's curiosity here. Did I miss something? WAS the Cybertron Planet Earth hollow? --Autobus Prime 16:13, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
Well, it IS where the Ancient Decepticons were being stored. In the hollowness, accessed from the poles. I can't remember if we saw an inner sun, though. --ItsWalky 16:38, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
Nah we didn't. It was just a vast icy chamber with thousands of egg-shaped 'stasis pods'. In the center was a kind of cylindrical tower that Starscream pops up from. --FFN 17:48, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
I didn't really take the presence of that chamber as proof of her entire theory. It seemed more like it was just a big cave than it was indication that the Earth was actually hollow. --KilMichaelMcC 18:19, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, its just a chamber. She's a crackpot and that's her crackpot theory. The kids probably think she's a crackpot, too, but only hear her out because they need the ride in her SUV. I believe she stated this theory in the episode where Starscream somehow managed to freeze Scattorshot by chucking a small ball of water at him, so this episode by default doesn't make any sense anyway. --FFN 19:06, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
No, the temperature was below freezing, that's why scattorshot froze. Actually, the guy I'm talking will probably never see this. S I pose this question: Why am I even posting this? TF's Biggest Fan EVER 15:25, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

I'm surprised nobody linked to this yet... http://www.shortpacked.com/d/20051102.html --Speedbreaker 19:33, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
