Talk:Mainframe (Animated)

Since the comment from Derrick about him having no altmode is pure authorial intent (which I don't have a problem with in theory, especially where Animated is concerned), wouldn't the declaration in the Almanac that he turns into a computer mainframe "override" it? Just want to gauge, before I reword the page, whether doing so would go down badly. Riptide (talk) 10:30, 22 April 2015 (EDT)
- I think Derrick may have flip-flopped on that position, since in later conversation with him he said he found the idea of Mainframe transforming into a computer and then "rolling out" hilarious. --Monzo (talk) 17:03, 22 April 2015 (EDT)
- Upon re-reading the comments, it seems like what he literally meant was "he doesn't actually transform in his fictional appearances", so... would it be worth removing that note entirely, or making it something like "DJW stated that his altmode would be a cray supercomputer"? - Ah, oops - didn't see this response! Do we have a source for DJW stating Mainframe's altmode? That would certainly cinch it, yeah. --Monzo (talk) 08:56, 15 May 2015 (EDT)
- This comment seems to indicate that what he meant was "he doesn't transform in-show". Riptide (talk) 09:32, 15 May 2015 (EDT)
