Why is there a "Foreign Names" section? Mammoth isn't a name! Are we going to have those for common nouns now? I mean, what the heck? --KilMichaelMcC 07:04, 23 April 2012 (EDT)
- It is the name used for the animal used in Japanese material. I'm not sure what the problem is. —Interrobang 07:36, 23 April 2012 (EDT)
- I don't understand. Is it not the ordinary Japanese word for "mammoth"? Because if that's all it is, why are we noting it? Why would be giving the simple translations of common nouns? --KilMichaelMcC 09:15, 23 April 2012 (EDT)
- Uh, yeah. That's really stupid. Especially since that's not even a translation, just "mammoth" phonetically in Japanese. --M Sipher 19:04, 23 April 2012 (EDT)
