Talk:Megatron (Armada)

I wonder if perhaps Unicron's armour is all Megatron has, or whether he may not have absorbed portions of Unicron's spark, in a similar way to Starscream stealing portions of Primus's power.

Certainly the thought makes the battles between Starscream, Megatron and Prime far more symbolic if this is true. It would also help explain the reformatting into the Galvatron of this universe, echoing the G1 story.

Or am I reading too much into that? -TTK

What's wrong with the little note about Dark Nitro Convoy? X-BoB58 00:33, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

It belongs on Dark Nitro Convoy's page. --ItsWalky 00:35, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

Then shouldn't the Dark Ligerjack stuff be on his page??? X-BoB58 00:35, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

Because we watch him reformat Nemesis Breaker on the show. Dark Nitro Convoy's origin is a note on her toy bio.--ItsWalky 00:37, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

Ah ok! X-BoB58 00:41, 14 May 2006 (UTC) P.S. it's "his" :p X-BoB58 00:41, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

Megatron's a more powerful Galvatron?!!!

[edit]

Even though it's kinda obvious, but wouldn't it be interesting to note Energon Megatron looks like a souped up G1 Galvatron? DarthImabell 21:49, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, take a look at his Japanese Superlink name, and at the Trivia section. In Japan his name is Galvatron (and the purple repaint is called Galvatron General) and a working name for him in Energon was going to be Galvatron Imperius.

That is one weird tank.

[edit]

Is that thing strong as an Abrams Tank or powerful than Mammoth Tanks? (Spearhead 03:45, 7 October 2007 (UTC))

Triple Changer?

[edit]

Megs is currently in the Triple Changer category. Is he officially a Triple Changer, or just a Transformer with three modes? JW 14:05, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

IIRC, Cybertron Megatron's product solicitation called him a "Triple-Changer." --ItsWalky 14:39, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Separate article?

[edit]

This is just something I'm wondering about, but considering the excessive differences between Galaxy Force and Cybertron, as well as the fact that Master Megatron is clearly not meant to be the same character as Armada Megatron, if Master Megatron and other Galaxy Force characters shouldn't have their own pages. Characters like Megs, Noisemaze, Sonic Bomber and Nitro Convoy would definitely benefit from it. --Detour 20:13, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Characterisation of Megs, as well as the other characters are largely the same anyway. Just that some events are different. --FFN 20:20, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Armada Galvatron's Japanese name

[edit]

The US names seem to be fairly straight forward (even if not completely logical) - Megatron > Galvatron > Megatron > etc, etc. And the Japanese names for Superlink and Galaxy Force are also detailed at the top. Reading the article, though, I came away unclear whether Megatron changed his name to Galvatron in Micron Legend, or whether he remained Megatron even through the recolor. I don't know enough about the Superlink production to know whether his name at the start of the Superlink series is a carry-over from the end of Micron Legend, or whether he renames himself from Megatron (or something else) once he has his new body. 121.44.203.137 09:24, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Child of Primus status

[edit]

Why is Megatron categorized as a Child of Primus? S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 18:48, 18 August 2015 (EDT)

Cause he helped Primal get a bunch of bots out of the Pit. Escargon (talk) 18:49, 18 August 2015 (EDT)
That alone is enough to qualify him? So then every non-pro-Unicron character in the Universe stories is a Child of Primus? S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 19:11, 18 August 2015 (EDT)
Yeah, I think the CoP's are meant to be the ones who are organised against Unicron. A jailbreak on its own wouldn't count. Charles RB (talk) 00:43, 19 August 2015 (GMT)

Burning Megatron

[edit]

So the legacy designers are adamant about calling Megs+tidal wave burning Megatron. Does that make the combined mode's japanese name canon to English markets now?Poliwag06 (talk) 20:25, 16 January 2024 (EST)
