Talk:Megatron (BW)/Beast Wars cartoon continuity

I kinda feel the way we have this and Primal's pages laid out is dishonest, because the Beast Machines stuff should be before the Universe stuff.

(Also I don't think we have to move off The Razor's Edge stuff from the Timelines stuff, it's just a version that happened in Wingsverse.) Escargon (talk) 19:41, 25 September 2014 (EDT)

Whoops, disregard second part, I think Mimi's just making it more chorological order. I like that. Escargon (talk)
Mostly because Pete straight out said Razor's Edge and Theft aren't always in continuity with DoFP. There isn't really a way to say "this is in continuity with this in this case, but not that case", which is annoying. All of 3H is in continuity with each other, though, which is why they're constrained to one neat section. Mimi (talk) 20:04, 25 September 2014 (EDT)

Megatron design

[edit]

Well, I'm not sure where it belongs more, here or in the Theft of The Golden Disk, but doesn't the Megatron's Alt-Mode look suspiciously like the Cybertron Defense Red Alert's? Especially since it came 2 years after Cybertron?

Ok. Sorry, haven't noticed that one.

Razorclaw reality and Waspscream reality Megatrons

[edit]

Currently the two Megatrons killed by Minion Generals Razorclaw and Obsidian only have short paragraphs at the end of the "3H comics" section, but AVP has given much more detail about those universes, including their Megatrons. How shall we organize this page for them? Make entirely new sections? Make sub-sections under "3H comics"? S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 16:55, 7 October 2015 (EDT)

I'd vote for sub-sections personally. --Ascendron (talk) 17:25, 7 October 2015 (EDT)

Theft of the Golden Disk

[edit]

In Theft of the Golden Disk, Megatron is shown to be able to transform into a hovertank. However, in the Beast Wars: Transformers cartoon, he doesn't have the parts of his hovertank mode and is seen to be more humanoid than his Timelines form. Beast Wars (Part 1) I would really like to know why. Hopefully, we will find out soon.T0nySt1nk (talk) 11:23, 2 July 2020 (EDT)

It says why in the article. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 14:54, 2 July 2020 (EDT)
It only explains the second part.T0nySt1nk (talk) 17:33, 2 July 2020 (EDT)
Did you look in the Timelines section of the article where Theft of the Golden Disk is actually covered? --Sabrblade (talk) 18:13, 2 July 2020 (EDT)
Yeah, but it says his body without his removable armor/armour transforms into a hovertank, which makes me ask, in "Beast Wars" Part 1, his body has no hovertank parts unlike his Cybertron form. It doesn't necessarily answer my question. T0nySt1nk (talk) 23:09, 4 July 2020 (EDT)
A wizard did it. --M Sipher (talk) 23:19, 4 July 2020 (EDT)
The same way a robot with Volkswagen parts transformers into a hover car. Escargon (talk) 23:35, 4 July 2020 (EDT)
